Bay
Chenega Bay is located on Evans Island at Crab Bay, 42
miles southeast of Whittier in Prince William Sound. Commercial
fishing, a small oyster farming operation, and subsistence
activities occur in Chenega.
- Cordova
Nestled peacefully at the head of Orca Inlet in Prince
William Sound, Cordova has a mystique all its own. She
dazzles you with glacier-carved mountains, wildlife-rich
wetlands, lush forests, and countless waterways. Then
this natural grandeur is blended with exciting activities

- Tatitlek
Tatitlek is located on the northeast shore of Tatitlek
Narrows, on the Alaska Mainland in Prince William Sound.
The dominant feature in the village is the blue-domed
Russian Orthodox Church.
- Valdez
Situated at the head of a deep, stillwater fjord in the
northeast section of Prince William Sound, Valdez is surrounded
by the Chugach Mountains. They are the most heavily glaciated
mountains in the Northwest. Valdez is the northernmost

- Whittier
The City of Whittier, Alaska, is located in Prince William
Sound, a fjord at the head of Passage Canal, 65 miles
southeast of Anchorage. Established as a strategic military
facility during the Second World War, Whittier's ice-free
port remains a focal point for marine activity and freight
transfer from sea train barges serving South-Central Alaska.
